Southeast Asia & the Maldives

Honeymoons, Planned Personally

The honeymoon or anniversary the two of you have been picturing.
Every honeymoon and anniversary is planned personally, so you can focus on each other instead of logistics. Lantern-lit evenings in Vietnam. Long mornings above the jungle in northern Thailand. Four nights in the Maldives in an overwater bungalow with nowhere to be.
 Honeymoons & Anniversaries

Built around you Two

The right pace, the right order, the right season.

You’ve spent months making decisions for your big day. Let us help take care of the logistical stress and ensure the trip is perfectly designed for you.

Our founder, Brandon will call you to understand how the two of you like to travel:  your pace, your budget, what you've been dreaming about, and what you'd rather skip. We want to get to know you to deliver the immersive, romantic, or eye-opening experience that you're looking for.

"We wanted to go to Thailand and the Maldives for our 25th anniversary but didn't want the stress and headache of trying to plan multiple locations. Brandon took care of this all for us and it was flawless. They worked with us to craft an itinerary of things we wanted to do and didn't push tourist traps (though we did want to see some!). There was a lot of back and forth, and they were very patient with us."

 Eight countries
One itinerary built for you

A floating raft house on Cheow Lan Lake where the jungle falls quiet after dark. Lantern-lit streets in Hoi An in the evening. A private villa above the Andaman Sea. Slow mornings in Bali with the doors open to the rice fields. A beach in Krabi where lunch is already waiting beneath the trees. Or four unhurried nights in the Maldives

Thailand

Thailand is often where a journey begins. It balances comfort, adventure, warm hospitality, culture, private islands, and romance, which is exactly why it works so well for honeymoon couples.

The Maldives

The Maldives is a final note of your journey. Three to four nights in an overwater bungalow.

Vietnam

Vietnam offers incredible culinary scenes, misty limestone bays, lantern-lit riverbanks and the feeling every morning that something new is waiting.

Bali

The ultimate private sanctuary. Slow mornings, private villas, rice terraces and manta rays. One island, endlessly surprising.

What to Expect When Visiting

Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia is built for unwinding together. Warm hospitality, days that move at a pace the two of you actually dictate, and landscapes that offer complete seclusion without feeling out of reach. From the moment you land, drivers are waiting, hotels know you're arriving, and support is available whenever you need it. The person who planned your trip, the same one looking after you on the ground. You're never handed off.

Stories you'll be retelling on your tenth anniversary.

A Welcome That Stays With You

Southeast Asia receives you with a warm welcome. Name signs on arrival. Welcome drinks or champagne waiting in the room. Staff who anticipate what you need and are available to help around the clock. Private villas, jungle retreats built above the water, intimate resorts where every room feels designed for two. Each property is as much a part of the experience as the places you explore. The warmth is not a service standard. It is simply how people here are.

Vivid Nature Experiences

Floating villas above lakes ringed by jungle. Coral reefs a short swim or boat ride from shore. Rice terraces climbing the hillsides of Ubud, Bali. Limestone karsts rising from flat water in southern Thailand and the islands of Vietnam. Orangutans moving through the rainforest canopy in Borneo and Sumatra. Wild elephants at the edge of the trees. Southeast Asia puts the two of you inside landscapes that photographs never quite do justice.

A Rhythm That Holds Time for Fun and Stillness

Tuk-tuk rides through Bangkok at sunset. Scooter rides along the coastal roads of Vietnam. Longtail boats, night markets, street food eaten while walking through Penang. and then, when you're ready, a private villa with nothing on the schedule and nowhere to be. Southeast Asia moves at whatever pace you set. The energy and the quiet are both always there, whenever you want them.

Seasonality Shapes the Journey

Southeast Asia welcomes couples in every season. Thailand's Andaman beaches are at their clearest from November through April. Bali runs on its own rhythm, dry and open from May through September. Vietnam's north and south move differently from each other; the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An in February feel nothing like the same streets in August. The Maldives sits just beyond the region, a natural close to any itinerary for couples who want to end in open ocean and complete stillness. Knowing when to go where shapes everything.
Where You'll Stay

Hotels Worth Talking About

Honeymoon and anniversary hotels across Southeast Asia and the Maldives. Four types of property. Each one chosen for a different reason. All of them memorable.

Every hotel is selected for one of three reasons: someone on the team has stayed there, inspected it in person, or seen consistent feedback from couples sent there.

What Our Clients Say

"I have never used a travel company before, as that's something I typically enjoy doing myself and I only trust myself to meet the high expectations I have. However, after the exhaustion of planning a wedding, I was willing to take a chance. From the beginning of the trip planning, Brandon helped us build our custom preferred itinerary catered to our interests and budgets with add-on options for us to tailor to our preferences. From the beginning Brandon was highly responsive and detailed, and honestly nailed the itinerary. We were very grateful for their team's vetted recommendations as it was our first time to Thailand.Communication leading up to the trip was prompt, and very detailed, but clear. (As a type A girl, I loved to see this!)"

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Southeast Asia a good choice for a honeymoon or anniversary?

Yes. The region balances cultural depth, natural beauty, and world-class accommodation in a way few destinations can match. Couples can move from the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An or a private cooking class in Chiang Mai to complete seclusion in a private pool villa above the Andaman Sea or an overwater bungalow in the Maldives. It is a different kind of romance, one built around place, not just resorts.

How much does a Southeast Asia honeymoon cost?

Most itineraries start from US $2,500 per person on the ground package — roughly £2,000 GBP, $3,500 CAD, or $3,800 AUD — depending on destinations, trip length, and accommodation level. Western currencies hold strong purchasing power across Thailand, Bali, and Vietnam, which means this budget reaches a level of privacy and quality that would cost considerably more elsewhere. See How Pricing Works for a full breakdown.

What is included in a Cognizant Voyages honeymoon/ anniversary package?

Every package includes chosen accommodation, domestic flights, private ground transfers from the moment you land, guided excursions, select experiences, and visa preparation guidance. You also have one dedicated point of contact via WhatsApp throughout the trip. If a flight shifts or a ferry is delayed, you don't reach an automated 1-800 number. You send a message, and the logistics are adjusted in the background while you stay present with each other.

When is the best time to visit Southeast Asia for a honeymoon or anniversary?

The cool dry season from November through February gives the clearest skies across most of the region. That said, itineraries can be built around excellent weather year-round by shifting focus to counter-seasonal destinations. The Gulf of Thailand islands suit spring and early summer travel well, and Bali has its own distinct weather pattern. Read the full month-by-month guide to learn more.

How many days should we plan our honeymoon for?

Given flight distances from the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, a minimum of 10 to 14 days on the ground is the best for most couples. Two weeks allows time to absorb the timezone shift and experience a properly paced multi-destination itinerary.

How do you balance culture and relaxation without feeling rushed?

Pacing is built into every itinerary from the start. A typical structure gives two to three nights in a city or cultural hub, three to four nights in a nature or heritage destination, and four to five final nights dedicated to stillness, whether islands, villas, or the Maldives as a close. No checklist travel. No back-to-back transfers. Because the team lives in the region, boutique properties are inspected in person rather than trusted from unverified online reviews, so your room matches what was promised

What experiences should we include?

The experiences worth prioritizing are the ones that take the two of you somewhere genuinely different. A private longtail boat to a secluded reef before the other boats arrive. An afternoon at an ethical elephant sanctuary. A private food tour through Bangkok. An ex-monk walking you through a temple he spent twelve years inside. These are the days couples come home describing.

Are you a licensed and insured tour operator?

Yes. Cognizant Voyages (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. provides international trip design, client consulting, and global brand management. All on-ground travel fulfillment, local transportation, and regulated tour operations inside Thailand are managed and executed exclusively by our licensed local partner, Cognizant Voyages (Thailand) operating under Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) License No. 11/13229.

Every trip includes daily contact once you land, so no one is handed a map and left to work things out alone.

Do US, UK, Canadian, and Australian passport holders need a visa?

US, UK, Canadian, and Australian passport holders enter Thailand visa-free for stays up to 30 days. Your passport must be valid for at least six months past your arrival date. Multi-country trips that include Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, or Indonesia each have their own entry requirements. Visa preparation is handled for you as part of every package.
